You can publish whatever you want in the Offcanvas Section. It can be any module or particle.

By default, the available module positions are offcanvas-a and offcanvas-b but you can add as many module positions as you want from the Layout Manager.

You can also add the hidden-phone module class suffix to your modules so they do not appear in the Offcanvas Section when the site is loaded on a mobile device.

We usually offer a wide range of retreats and seminars throughout the year, revolving around the liturgical calendar. There are currently no scheduled retreats, however if you would like to be notifed of upcoming retreats, please make contact with us.

Fr Peter Varengo SDB will lead a “Lent and Easter” retreat for anyone interesting in undertaking a journey of reconciliation in preparation for

Journey of Reconciliation

During this retreat Fr Peter will utilise the gospel readings of the five Sundays of Lent from the Gospel of Mark. Reflecting on these powerful stories, he will lead participants on a pilgrimage of reconciliation as we journey towards the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus.

Fr Peter is an experienced preacher, educator, writer and spiritual director. He has worked in schools, parishes and retreat ministry for many years and brings to a depth of faith and wisdom to all his retreats.

Detailed Arrangements

  • $680 per person all inclusive (retreat, meals and accommodation)
  • Retreat commences Sunday afternoon: 4:00pm Arrival, welcome and registration
  • Retreat concludes on Friday afternoon: 12:30pm Lunch followed by departure
  • Maximum 30 participants (due to current COVID protocols)

The retreat will be conducted at Don Bosco Retreat Centre, which is conveniently located in the picturesque Lysterfield Valley and the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, only 10 minutes from the freeway system. The natural beauty of this idyllic setting inspires prayer and reflection.
